Pentium D? Might as well have gotten an X2 chip. Motherboard? Craptacular. Everything else is fine though... He could have built a better-performing AMD rig with better quality components for that price...

I hope that is not a gaming rig.

I give it a 1/10. The only thing he did right was the videocard, its decent. He should have looked at some reviews and benchmarks before buying that junk.

You can make computers these days without hard drives or RAM?

Also, LGA775? Might as well shoot yourself in the foot.

All of that comes to $970, which is less than the $1000 he paid, and it's a much better system. Your brother is an idiot.
