Rate my site.. ;)

the main page looks kinda bland ....
might want to think of getting rid of the Sponsors page too ... just have a lil add space under your website logo or something.

overall 6/10

i found three typos right off the bat. if you're going to maintain a review site, proofreading would be nice.

Well, if you're going to have people reading lots of text from your site (i.e. review articles), you're going to want to work on your English skills (grammar). They need a lot of work. If your reader's don't understand you perfectly, they're not going to want to come back to read reviews again.

You don't have any reviews on your site and you already have sponsors? Either those sponsors don't care to whom their endorsements go, or you have a serious tallent for sales and negotiation! 😉

Are you blind? we have reviews.. 😀

I think you're off to a good start... a few things could be better.
You definitly need to proofread. "To get the movie to work u must have the newest XviD codec..." Stuff like that makes your reviews seem more like simple opinions.
I think you should find a better location for taking your pictures. The "on your desk" look also seems kind of amature... or at least clean up your desk. And take more pictures. Take close ups. Do comparisons. I don't really have a good feal for the size of the iriver. Buy a microfiber clothe (if you don't already have one) to clean off thumb prints and what not from the screen.
Write a little more details. The iriver review seems like something short you might find on epinions.com
Try changing the formatting some.. default browser font is kinda boring.
Have your reviews linked on the home page. It looked like you didn't have anything on your site when I first opened it up. People want to see some content right away when they load up a website.

That's about all I can think of. Best of luck to ya.

DOH! I am. 😱 Sorry bud 😛

You might want to think about putting more on your lead page...it just filled up this little corner on the left of my screen...if I Want an info site, I want a lot of info...put some links the reviews and whatnot on the opener!

That site isn't ready yet, right?

There's a LOT of work to be done, and I'll bet you hear from Kyle before too long.

I'll give you a 1..(For asking that an incomplete site be reviewed)

Let me know when it's ready for prime time. 😀

I don't like it. The mods on the forums are far too strict. My post has already been deleted and there was nothing against any of the forum rules at all! (I asked for someone to rate Anandtech's website).

I've been making web pages for YEARS.

Of course, mine isn't anything to brag about though 🙂 You know, the plumbers faucets always leak or the mechanics car never runs right........

I'd rate your site probably 4.5/10 with plenty of potential.

You have a great concept going, need to utilize the screen more. Bring in something that grabs the readers attention. Perhaps some content might help.

Find a server that can support your site. I take it you are using templates? Did you design that template on your own or did you "borrow" it from somewhere?

What program are you using for your editing?

3/10.

The page is bland. You need to proofread more closely. Looking at the names and links on the page, I get the impression that English isn't your first language(Swede?), but it's something that should be addressed.

None of the reviews included the price of the part you reviewed, I think. Obviously the prices on these things will vary from a shop to shop, but including the MSRP would've been helpful(to me, anyway).

I think the website's generally clean-looking, which I like, but it's not an exciting site. I gave you a low score but I don't think your page is hopeless.

I agree with everyone that it is very bland. Not bad, but a little dull to look at. You need some additional graphic details; perhaps backgrounds for your category headings in Reviews; some photos there would help also. The Sponsors page pretty much blows. The Forum needs a logo. As for the home page, that is seriously lacking content.

The logo header you are using for all the pages looks fine but needs something more or the height of it reduced.

On the whole, I'll give it a 4 - 5. It doesn't hurt the eyes to look at but it needs work.

8-10 if u ignore the typos, but i guess my rating is high cuz i dunno how to design a site myself
