get a different psu (fortron, enermax liberty, seasonic)
different hdd (western digital se16 250gb)
no need for an sli board
no gpu

too expensive
wait til july 24 for price cuts on amd and intel. plus, conroe comes out
 
The Maxtors that caused all the furor were the "gray-market" versions. Maxtor made a mistake by selling them to the discount giants, ie Costco and the like. Since Seagate has annexed Maxtor, we can expect better hdds. Hope that Seagate learns from Maxtors mistakes.
