... no, it's not a photo of me... just want some opinions on my photography skill, or lack of skill =)... feel free to rate it on the website, and comment. Of course, comments are welcome here as well.

Commented on your website. I like it. I see some noise, but generally great.

Nice, but it needs something to breakup all the water, sail boat, skier or something.

It's the Gulf of Mexico... it wouldn't have smoothed out at all =) In fact, the waters only got more and more rough during my stay there... I think I have some daytime pictures of the rougher waters. Not REAL rough... but 2-3 foot waves I'd say.

The noise may be just something you're seeing, or may be due to jpeg compression. I'm looking at the actual picture here 2048x1536 resized to fit the screen and it doesn't look grainy or noisy... at least not to me.

I like your photo, awsome how just the top & bottom of the sun come through the clouds. I think the jpeg compression might have done something, looks a hair grainy to me. What camera did you use? I must be honest though, I found this photo just a tad more interesting. ;):p

It's an Olympus C-3020... and unfortunately I don't know who that is =) I gave a friend of mine an account to host some pictures... can you believe he dumped that girl for the other girl in his album???

I guess upon examining the original picture, the water looks pretty grainy... guess that was just a tad too much for my camera to handle, hehe.
