MY RIG:

Thermaltake Tsunami Dream
Enermax Whisper II 460W
Athlon 64 3500+ 90nm
1 gig Corsair XMS ram (2-3-3-6)
MSI Neo2 Platinum
eVga 6800GT (w/Doom 3, yay!)
Seagate 160 gig hard drive
Sony 16x DVD-ROM
NEC 16X DVD-RW
Logictech X-530 5.1 Speakers

TOTAL PRICE: Roughly $1550 plus shipping.

I managed to cut some fat by eliminating things I already had (I have about six monitors), cooling my heels a little on bleeding edge parts. Now, all I need is for the damn case to get in stock and I'm ready to pull the trigger. Thanks a lot to you guys, you've been a huge help.

if you are not OCing skip the XMS. I would say get a BFG 6800GT also since I just dealt with them on an RMA, and they were fantastic. Also, if this is your first build, don't get a SATA hard drive, get the Seagate 200GB IDE version from Newegg for $109 instead.

It sucks. You should cut your loses, sell it to me for a $1, and build a new one.

The only thing I look at funny is not your fault and not an issue. A power supply called a Whisper II? Dang, that was the name of the air pumps for my aquarium when I was a kid. Must be water cooled! :D
