Aspire, is cheap and flashy. Not real nice quality component

Abit, while they are still a very nice company, have been having some problems. I wouldn't recommend their motherboards right now.

WD, exceptional quality, however they lack fluid bearings.

TT, Very cheap and flashy, and very noisy. Much better off with something else.

:thumbsup: still a nice system though.. just IMO i think you could have done better.

You could have always just edited the first one so that it had the links too, rather than making a second one with links...
 
I say 4.

2 pts for dual core
1 pt for good hard drive
1 pt for dvd rom + burner (in case of backups)

I say you could've spent your money better. Such as...

DFI Ultra-D mobo
XP-90C heatsink with any fan
Better ram.

Problems:
-No name power supply
-Abit Fatality SLI + an ATI card?!
-I'm no ramboi, but i've never heard of PQI. And it's more expensive than stuff I have heard of.

p.s. - it'd be useful if you'd tell us what this PC will be used for. B/c if it's for games, I'm gonna give it a 0.

Nope. DFI is the only way to go. Abit's days are over

For that price, you can get Mushkin 2gb ram or OCZ. Much better.

$33 for a TT heatsink fan? Get a XP-90 by Thermalright and a good fan and you'll have kick@$$ cooling.
 
Dude, if yer gonna cough up serious dough for a CPU at least complement the thing with name brand memory and a decent video card, not to mention a name brand power supply.

It's a decent build for someone your age to pick out by yourself. But if you should post threads at week(s) or at least days before purchasing them. But all the responses are just opinions. As long as the system does what you want it to, its a successful build.
 
true, but im going to try to sell my build on ebay, but for some reason ebay isnt working for me rite now so if i do now i know what to get after reading what all of you have to say

lol...ouch, that is just not a good idea (if you're being serious). Computer hardware depreciates the instant you purchase it, and turning a profit by listing a freshly built machine on e-bay is not going to be easy. You'll have a pretty hard time turning a profit. You'd have better luck if you put up a website/local flyers advertising yourself as a custom builder and just building on demand, and locking in the sale beforehand.
 
i dont want profit, i put this computer on anandtech to see what other ppl thaught and most ppl say it sucks so if i can sell it im going to get a new one based on what i've read here
