Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus

Insomniac revealed a new Ratchet & Clank game that's supposed to be more like the original games (i.e. not All 4 One or Full-Frontal Assault), and it will be called Into the Nexus. There's a nice little video in that IGN article if you're interested in seeing some things. Probably the most interesting part for some will be that it is currently a PS3-only game and that it might see a Vita release.
 
I'm not sure I can bring myself to care much for amy PS3 games after the PS4 hits. I plan to make GTA V my last title on this gen.
 
i'm a huge r&c fan so i will probably still buy this game when it comes out on ps3, but had this been announced for ps4 it would have made me purchase a ps4 just for it.

If that PS4 bundle of PS3 games that someone linked in the PS4 thread is real, I don't know why they wouldn't include games like Ratchet & Clank in that! Porting an engine like that would be a smart idea since you could probably also use it with Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time.
 
Awesome, I'll buy it. I love the series and A Crack In Time was simply awesome. Though I do wish it would come out on the PS4 as well, even if it just a port of the PS3 version.
 
worst r&c game this gen by far was the all 4 one game. it didn't feel like an r&c game at all you didn't even get to select your weapons. it was a fun game just very different and felt very dumbed down. reminded of how the mario kart franchise has been totally ruined because they keep dumbing it down. glad to see they are taking this game back in it's original direction.

I enjoyed All 4 One simply because me and the lady played it together. And you could select your weapons, so I don't know what you are talking about.

i don't remember what it was about the weapons then but there was something about it that bothered me. was there no new weapons or something? or was the upgrade different in this game? or was it that the other guys couldn't use the weapons ratchet could? i can't remember what it was, but the game was totally forgettable to me so that is probably why i'm getting all mixed up with it.
 
I think each character had one specific weapon that they could use that no one else had access to. I also think that there weren't as many guns. I got it for free with plus, and like I said we had a good time playing it together. It is no where near as awesome as the other titles in the series, but I still got some solid enjoyment out of the title.
