I took five of my brothers and two kids of my co-worker to see it and we loved it. I laughed a lot, especially at some of the more adult aimed humor and the kids were talking about it for a while.

Very worthwhile for the price of tix.

Excellent movie! Pixar never disappoints.

I dragged my little sister to the movie this morning. I didn't want to look like a creepy pedophile seeing the movie by myself early in the morning.</end quote></div>

How old is the sister? If she's of the kid age, you did look like a pedo and if she's not, you looked like a sister lover.

sign of the times we live in.

I think it's odd that Patton Oswalt was chosen for the lead role. Don't get me wrong, I love Patton and he is excellent, but this is a big movie. I would have expected bigger star power in the lead role.

It's just a voice....you don't need a big star for that.

I think Pixar would disagree. Tom Hanks (after winning for Philadelphia) AND Tim Allen (during the height of his Home Improvement success) in the same film? That is some serious star power.

Just having a big star doing a voice isn't going to guarantee success. Take a gander at all the CGI cartoon movies over the last several years that have crashed and burned while having big stars doing the voices.

Having a big voice can help with the marketing of a movie but it doesn't guarantee success. You still have to have a great story and great voice acting.

Remy's brother in the movie is actually voiced by one of the animators. He did the fill-in voicing while they were casting. They couldn't find anyone who could do the Emil's voice as well as he could so they got him to do the voice on top of his animation duties.

Just saw it tonight, excellent movie! It put a smile on my face. I saw it on one of those DLP projectors and it looked beautiful. The CGI was amazing - Pixar never seems to disappoint here.

Took my daughter to see it last week & I also really enjoyed it ... it appeals to adults just as much if not more then to young kids.

Saw it as part of a 7-year-olds birthday party last weekend (I took my daughter). The kids and adults all liked it. I also liked it, but it was a little long (go to the restroom before the movie starts and take it easy on the soft drinks - I was shuttling 6- and 7-year-olds to the restroom for a good portion of the fourth fifth of the movie).
