I... I don't think so.

Ladybuggy, are your rats swimming with disease or am I safe?

whoa, need stitches?

No, it's not that bad. It just took a tiny little part off at the bottom.

Aww, I'm sorry. :( Your ear must have looked tasty-good.

Now it's developed a taste for human flesh...

Well, I think you're safe. . .

Oh, by the way, my little sister saw your avatar and immediately recognized it as you.

It's not as if they catch wild rats off of the streets and sell them in pet stores.

I used to have a pair of pet mice, and they were actually much worse. Mice are disgusting. One of them ended up eating the other one's head. Ugh.

Edit: Oh, and I'd get a "normal" pet if I could, but Yoyo and I are quite allergic to cats, and we don't have the time to give adequate attention to a dog (which we're also kind of allergic to).

My hamster has bitten me twice, so I think you're safe.

Then again, not quite as bad as that.

No, but the rats are healthy, and the bite's healed fine. If anything weird starts happening, then we'll call somebody. I think it would be similar to being bitten by a cat, and with that you're just supposed to clean it thoroughly and watch it to make sure nothing weird happens.

Try getting bit by an inguana that's whipping you in the arm with his tail and scratching the hell out of your hands as you hold his legs in a position where he can't run.

Had to make him hand tame and had to clean the cage. I was the only one with the balls to grab him. Of course, once they saw my hands bleed when he bit, I don't wonder why they'd be scared.
