in all seriousness, that is really sad. Its amazing how many animals are no longer around or have become extinct due to humans.

And that number is infinitesimal compared to the number of species that have died off naturally or at the hands of some other invasive species.
Humans are amateurs at the extinction game.

Just wondering, what do they do with the body of a deceased animal at a zoo? Will it be buried or something?

More of that Alaska "knowledge" working for ya there? In the definition of "invasive species" is that it is introduced by man. This is hardly natural. Where do you get this stuff?
BTW, my sister is a conservation biologist that studies invasive weeds.
Northern white rhinos are considered critically endangered. Along with the two remaining at the Wild Animal Park, there are six at a zoo in the Czech Republic and as few as five believed to be roaming in the African wild, the zoo said.

Very misleading title - there are only 13 *northern* white rhinos left - *southern* white rhinos are still around in much higher numbers, along with black rhinos, indian rhinos, asian rhinos, etc.
Right, and if the title were "A rare species of rhino died", or maybe simply "Rare rhino species death", the title would have been much more descriptive. I read the article and said to myself, there's certainly more than 5 rhinos in the wild, or am I gravely mistaken? Not a purposely misleading title by any means.Originally posted by: Homerboy

First its the article title
"Rare rhino" meaning "a rare species of rhino"
