Rare interview with Destiny game developer.

This should probably have been posted in the destiny thread.

The only response I have is, the raid for Crota's End was supposed to be a strike. Look at how straight forward it is, how quickly you can run through it. They just added the element of "pick up the sword". Otherwise it's no different than fighting Omnigul. There's no real team effort necessary which is why people who are determined to do so, can solo it. Vault of Glass was the only raid that was setup to be based on team work. With you needing to open the door as a team, cleanse your fireteam members when you get marked, hold the gate open so someone can get the relic from gatekeeper etc. They had no raid for Crota's End if you ask me, so they took a strike and edited it so it had some element you had to overcome with a few people like the annihilator totems at the bridge and called it a day.

I logged in for 5 mins the other day just to buy some heavy ammo off Xur. I actually couldn't wait to get off.
