With the cost of an 80g Raptor so high, what would be a cost effective alternative?

I was going to go Raptors and because of the price I said the hell with it. I went with the Maxtor 250 GB SATA drive with the 16 MB Buffer It has NCQ/SATA II and from what I have heard is dam near as fast as the Raptor due to the 16MB buffer.
