Well, apparently CSI either did a lil ripped from the headlines, or PCP-heads do a lot of flesh eating. Sunday nights show involved one story line about a highschool guy and girl high on PCP, where the girl attacked the guy's girlfriend, and well she beat her down and did the same thing as this rapper. coincidence maybe.

IIRC, he wasn't trying to "hone his 'Gangsta' image"; he and friend were fscked up on PCP and attacked the victim. I can't be positive, but I'm pretty sure this story was the inspiration for an episode of CSI that ran sometime last fall (two students smoked a PCP-laced joint, and then attacked a third, tearing open her chest and eating some of her organs).

Upon closer reading, it appears she's claiming the record company provided her son with mind-altering drugs, urging/hoping that would lead him to engage in risky/criminal behavior.

I wouldn't be surprised if record labels hook their artists up with illegal substances, etc... but for the purpose of encouraging the artists "to encourage (them) to act out in an extreme violent manner so as to make them more marketable as 'Gansta Rap' artists"?

exactly, like i said above, that episode just happened to reair last night. it was really disturbing too, i can't believe it really happened though, that's even worse. (of course in CSI they added that the victim had ecoli, and therefore so did the attackers)
