i'm not against the death sentence, it is pretty clear that violent rapists and child molestors are repeat offenders.

Are you sure that some of these rapist actually have enough brain power to think about power (forgive the double wording)

Power may not be in the rapist's mind at the time. Think of it as a possible underlying cause of rape. The rapist wants sexual gratification, but in a manner that violates and demeans a woman. By taking her in that fashion, he is demonstrating his power.

Me, I think rapists should just be shot. Unlike murder, there don't seem to be very many factors that could be used to mitigate rape.
