Rape video game pulled from Amazon

I find it amazing that people are shocked & dismayed by this yet Manhunt is OK.

Also, this isnt new. Its pretty average in Japanese PC games. You either nail the girl with her consent, or without.
Heck, they even have plenty of RPG's with the date or rape theme thrown in on top of the regular gameplay.

Nevermind, I missed reading the above post. Didn't know this kinda stuff is average in Japanese games.

I dunno if the consoles have this kind of stuff. I know we dont see it in the US.

Actually, now that I think of it I have heard about plenty of Adult rated console games sold outside the US.

adult rated games are sold in the US. many large retailers (wal mart, target, etc.) refuse to carry games with the adult rating (AO).

I suppose thats sorta true. Amazon outright refused to carry a rape game but plenty of others do get sold without issue.
But every time they do we have to hear about it from Hillary Clinton or some other, more-impressive whackjob.

Not that I'm really much for censoring; but can we at least agree that a video game where your goal is to be a violent rapist is.. a bit.. different than showing a nipple? 😛 Not really analogous, but I do understand what you're saying. The US is especially backward when it comes to sexuality.

I think the violent rape video games shouldn't be banned, they should be given an adult only rating, kept away from the eyes of youngsters, and sold to those who want to pay for it. To do otherwise is censoring free speech. I can proudly say I've never raped anyone, but I wouldnt mind playing this game for a few minutes, at least for a laugh or to send a screenshot to a friend. Rape = bad. Rapegame = possibly entertaining.

Either that or lets ban every game involving killing, I mean, I didn't wanna play hardball but... lol.
 
Great, now those people who would've bought this to play on their computer will go around raping school girls in real life instead of pixels on their computer monitor.
