A "Real World" Rape?

MTV's Real World pad in San Diego has become a potential crime scene as cops investigate a 22-year-old woman's allegations of rape.


The woman, who's neither a cast or crewmember of the reality series' upcoming season, told police she was assaulted between Nov. 14 and 15 in the home, a converted commercial building that houses the cast and a production studio.


She claims she met the suspect, identified in local reports as "Justin," at a downtown nightclub. The alleged victim told police she downed one drink from the man, an acquaintance of a Real World castmember, and blacked out.


On top of the previously reported BAR BRAWL, looks like MTV might need to seriously reconsider how they film the Real World.

That show is retarded. Put a bunch of spoiled morons in a multi-million dollar house and watch them complain, get drunk and screw each other. It got tired 10 years ago IMHO.

I don't understand why the hell people still watch it. What ever happened to MTV playing MUSIC??? I guess there aren't enough rap videos to keep them busy for 24 hours a day, so instead of giving attention to other genres, they have to fill the void with crap.

i saw a normal rock video on MTV the other day, i was surprised, but at the top of the hour they went back to one of the stupid shows

I believe they have already cast for the Real World following Real World San Deigo. Starts filming in Jan. Rumors about it being somewhere in Texas.

i also find it disturbing that with all the cast and crew in the house, surely someone could tell something was up, yet no one tried to stop it. reading TSGs article, it says one woman even told the girl she may have been assaulted. its disgustion no one stepped in, and its even more disgusting the way MTV is messing with the police investigation. if she was raped, i hope she sues the fvck out of MTV.

having said that, i wouldnt be surprised at all if this was all a fake stunt, just to garner ratings. it is a reality show, and we all know how "real" those are.
