I found its easier to just pop the Windows key right off.
I can still sink my pinky down in there and hit it if I want to, but I never do.

I understand some folks use that ugly, useless little fucker to get daily shit done, and thats fine. But I am one of the people who grew up playing Doom and I think there should be a great big gap between the Control and Alt keys.

This, or get a keyboard w/o one, OR get a gaming keyboard with an on/off windows key switch. 🙂

Even the reg hack is ok, but whatever you do, don't fail.

The windows key and AIM windows were my nemesis in the old days of CS when getting alt+tabbed out of the game and coming back in meant you lost your sound.

I'm glad you posted so I could tell how you feel - you hate people who brag about their KD ratios and don't play the same game he does. I've made a note never to forget this fact that you've graced us with.
