Nope, no reply yet. They did 'resubmit' the order however. Been that way since day b4 yesterday though. Still on their 'step 1'

Since 2003 I've ordered electronics from New Egg at least 20 times. No problems, and always amazingly quick deliveries.
I will check out the posted link Directron.com.

I've never had a problem with newegg, and I've ordered from them probably 50-60 times. Basically almost every time I build a computer I get the parts from newegg and the service is usually pretty dang fast.

On the other hand, to be perfectly honest, I've never heard of anybody mailing them a check before this thread.

I have to agree with the consensus here. I have ordered tens of thousands of dollars worth of product from Newegg and have never had an issue. I have had defective product, to be expected when you buy in volume, but they have always handled my returns quickly and professionally. In my honest opinion they are the online reseller out there to beat. I have also done quite a large amount of business with Zipzoomfly, Directron and MWave but Newegg is always my first choice unless they are out of stock. They are always the quickest to get me the parts so I can turn over my customers order as fast as possible.

newegg is the best nothing like paying for 3 day shipping and getting it next day.

It seems you enjoy calling out newegg as much as you enjoy rolling your eyes at the newegg fanbois. If you've always hated ordering from them, you should have stopped. I hate ordering from tiger direct, and if I do again and have a problem, I'd blame myself for the stupidity, not them. Take some responsibility and order elsewhere next time, unless someone puts a gun to your head again that made you order from them this time...

Sorry that you had a bad experience but this statement is unfounded. They aren't trash, haven't always been trash in the past, and I hope they don't become trash in the future. I've purchased many things there and have had no issues at all.

I have never had a problem with the egg. I live in washington state and end up either buying my stuff there or at Frys's B&M for hot deals. For me their shipping is cheap (use the 3-5 day supersaver and is never more than 7.68 and is usually free) it ships in 24 hours normally (business day) and arrives normally in 4 days. Also they tend to have some of the best prices on average to acouple of dollars and there customer service is so good I am willing to pay maybe even $10 extra dollars for newegg service.

You guys got nothing on me. I placed a newegg order on Feb 25th, 2008.
I decided to build a new rig, and the total came out to $384 + $78 (APO shipping) =$462
They make money off the APO shipping when APO shipping is exactly the same rate as regular USPS shipping. I received eveything I ordered withint a week, EXCEPT for the case which was shipped separately.

I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE CASE!
Everytime I notified them, they told me they couldn't do anything because APO shipping sometimes took upto 6 weeks...yeah right.
Anyway, I did file a claim right at the 6 week mark...and supposedly, they will send me a case once the claim goes through...we'll see how long that takes.

btw i've gotten used to computing without a case LOL
