ok, windows xp officially sux! :|

I was using it's ftp server to upload and download configuration files to/from my firewall. I was getting file corruptions all day and it was killing me! I didn't know what was going on, and called checkpoint to chew them out! 😱

Finally a light bulb went off and I decided to use cisco's tftp server instead....guess what? no file corruptions! loaded up the firewall in no time. yay for cisco, FU for M$

gawd, we need another network admin around here. what's the point of promoting me to manager if I still have to do all the technical work :| I should be concentrating on my management skills....DUH!

stop saying user error....

XP must chop off or add additional data to ftp files....how else would it explain the corruptions all day?
