even though I have it listed in my ICQ info that I live with my fiance and that I'm American do I still get men from these middle eastern and other foreign countries that cant half way type english hitting on me????? That is sooooooo annoying ... I have so many of these guys on ignore it isnt even funny. Do they think just because I'm an american female that being engaged doesn't mean anything??? Do any of you other women (or men) have the same problem? If I had a dollar for everyone of these guys I would be rich.

Ah, sweetrobin, this is why I don't use instant messaging or ICQ very much. If anyone wants to romance me, it has to be the long, slow way.

Seriously, one of the first times I ever tried to use ICQ, some guy immediately started messing with me. I told him I was 8 months pregnant (I was) and that didn't matter. I told him I was a big hairy lesbian and that just got him more interested. I stick to e-mail and boards like this now.

Sweetrobin, at one stage I had PigButtUgly as my ICQ name, and in the info I had SAM, between the bush pig imagery and sam it still didnt stop 'em, I guess being able to type one handed is a skill that most pc users wish to perfect !
