RANT: why didnt microsoft make a wireless intellimouse optical??!?!?

first microsoft releases their 1st optical mouse, the intellimouse explorer (5 button, 2 on thumb-side)
i thought it was too bulky, but then they release the intellimouse optical (5 button, 1 on thumb, 1 on pinkie) perfect i like!
then they have their wheel mouse optical (3 button, simple)

now they have a new line for wireless, the wireless intellimouse explorer (same as above, but wireless)
i thought they would come out w/ a wireless intellimouse optical, but instead they release wireless optical blue (3 button, simple, wireless)
so now im like aarrgghh.. why couldn't they come out w/ a wireless intellimouse optical!??!

they also have a new desktop wireless desktop optical, which is nice, but i need my fwd + back buttons!!! :|
 
why don't you make the middle button the "backspace" button, it's the scroll wheel, but it still works as a middle button. it works for my logitech ifeel optical ...
 
I have one of these mice and well... it's not very comfortable. I for one prefer my Explorer 3.0 mouse. Maybe i just need to get used to it... I just got it a week ago.

the optical infrared laser function would drain battery life, so maybe they could also sell a docking cradle with it to charge when not in use. tee hee

On the Wireless Intellimouse Optical, the power turns off when your not touching the mouse.

That's what I want too! The extra side buttons are nice for gaming and it's not frickin' huge like the Explorer is.
I just wish the mouse tapered in a little bit towards the bottom. It would be a lot more comfortable that way. Especially if you pick up your mouse a lot.

And, speaking of huge, WTF were they thinking when they designed this keyboard?!? Were they trying to waste all the desktop space everyone freed up with their LCD monitors? That thing is a monster!!! :|

Actually, I hadn't even thought about the size of the picture. I have that annoying image auto-scaler feature turned on. 🙂
 
More rant- Why can't they sell their Office Keyboard Pro in black seperately from the wireless explorer. Best keyboard out there but I don't want white.

Plus I would like to see the intellimouse optical that AkumaX likes in black. I know there is a special edition one at some stores in silver and black, but its like $20 more! then the white one.

not infrared/laser, but the wireless opticals i've used kinda hrm, suck 😱

They're laggish, and skippy, not nearly the tracking of a explorer 3.0 or dual optical IMO

which is why I bought a iMac Keyboard. 😉 (I am 100% PC user!....ok ok..minus the keyboard)
