Wasn't it mostly because of the tomato shortage?

The tomato shortage was very short lived and a huge oversupply of tomatoes followed. The winter bumper crop was good and followed shortly after the "shortage". As much as 60million lbs of tomatoes were left to rot in the fields due to the oversupply.

They have also removed the 1/4lb doublestack from the menu and raised it's price to $1.29. This happened about a month ago in Milwaukee.

It has stopped me fom eating there. I used to go once a week with my business partner and now it's maybe once a month.
Links to back up claim of no tomato shortage.

They better not do that here.

2 jr bacon + 2 chicken nuggets + lemonade + frosty >> *

WOW! for one dude?! wow...

Really not that much. Those burgers are tiny. I usually get two of them, a baked potato, and if I'm feeling particularly hungry I'll get the nuggets.

Damn. I understand how America is obese. You DO realize to remain relatively healthy the 2000 calorie mark per day should be kept right? I don't know for sure, but I'd say you're pushing 1500 calories alone w/ that one meal.
Can't make a blanket statement like that - if I went on 2000 calories a day, I'd lose weight I don't need to be losing. America is obese because they are not exercising after they eat... or ever. It's all going in but never being burned unless they think sitting in the can does them some good...

Also, their .99 softdrink is now even smaller. used to be biggie, then medium, and now small.

I give you only a 2/10 on the Rant-o-Meter for this one, if only because that out of all the possible things you could have ranted on about, you had to pick something so goddamned trivial.

Cut off your middle finger and put it in their chili to protest the increase.

How can Wendy's still afford to keep the jr bacon cheeseburger at .99 for this long? It has been .99 since like 1990 or 1991, thats 15 years. What do they do about inflation?

You don't understand sh!t. I could eat that every day and never gain a pound. Know why? Because I do this thing called "Getting off my ass and exercising" that most fat f&ck's don't. :p

The new prices don't bother me, it's the fact that they fscked with the 1/4 pound double stack w/ cheese. Now it taste like sh!t and they still charge you more. -_-

Do you understand that the exact same caloric intake doesn't work for everyone?
I will admit that I'm about 15 pounds overweight (I doubt that makes me obese) but I've maintained this weight just fine for the past two years, and before that I was actually heavier than I am now.
Please help yourself to a nice heaping bowl of STFU, which is free of calories.
