*RANT* Wendy's raises price of Jr bacon Cheeseburger

things on their .99 VALUE menu are increasing or of being less value :thumbsdown:

Also, their .99 softdrink is now even smaller. used to be biggie, then medium, and now small.

Depends on the franchise, I believe. It's been $1.19 around here for quite some time, but the one near my GF's sister's house in Colorado is still 0.99
Their loaded baked potato is fifty cents cheaper as well, and they still have the 0.99 quarter pound double stack that we no longer have at all.

Really not that much. Those burgers are tiny. I usually get two of them, a baked potato, and if I'm feeling particularly hungry I'll get the nuggets.

What was the deal with that tomato shortage??? I never heard of it...if you go to Walmart, they have TONS of them. Bah...it's price gouging. Wendy's is losing market share simply because people are eating healthy or they're eating at McDonald's. Either way, Wendy's is losing out. Since Dave Thomas died, they don't have the same kind of advertising...so they're suffering.

I priced a meal at Wendy's and it's about $1-2 more than McDonald's.

Damn. I understand how America is obese. You DO realize to remain relatively healthy the 2000 calorie mark per day should be kept right? I don't know for sure, but I'd say you're pushing 1500 calories alone w/ that one meal.

The tomato shortage was very short lived and a huge oversupply of tomatoes followed. The winter bumper crop was good and followed shortly after the "shortage". As much as 60million lbs of tomatoes were left to rot in the fields due to the oversupply.

They have also removed the 1/4lb doublestack from the menu and raised it's price to $1.29. This happened about a month ago in Milwaukee.

It has stopped me fom eating there. I used to go once a week with my business partner and now it's maybe once a month.
