So i pick up on this hot deal ( thanks HD forums! ) and i happily go home to upgrade my soundcard. I get home to a fresh install ( my friend somehow managed to corrupt my registry so i had to reformat) and i install it and after installation i get a BSOD stating there is a KMODE error and i spend the next 3 days searching everywhere and trying EVERYTHING i can think of to fix this problem. I post in Tech Support, the Abit forums ( makers of my motherboard), E-Mail Turtle Beach i try everything and cannot fix it for the life of me. i start looking at the card and something just isnt right about it, it clearly states Santa Cruz Turtle Beach on it and im just wondering WHAT could be wrong? Well i go to CompUSA and i return th ecard for another one open it in store and lo and behold the cards are COMPLETELY different! Someone returned that product with some POS in it and i wasted 3 days trying to get that freaking thing to work.

Thieves suck, if you do this you are an asshole.

Thank you for reading my non-coherent rant.

we get that at work all the time with RAM. The people at the service desk just dont know how to check to see if the stuff is the correct ram. No matter how many times i show them, they still mess up.

Take for instance the 32mb stick of pc100 that someone returned last week in the packaging of a 256mb stick of pc1066!
