So, I volunteer at a no-kill animal shelter a few nights a week. We take in dogs and cats, but I work with the dogs. I've been around dogs all my life, and am an animal lover in general. I knew going into the volunteer gig that certain things would be tough (animals used for fighting, sickness, etc.), and I was prepared for that. What i wasn't prepared for was this:
At least once a week we recieve a dog that was literally shoved out of a moving car, chained to a post and abondoned, or left sitting in the vestibule alone, scared, and confused. Our latest addition was a pure-bread, 4yo German Shep., who arrived via the 'punt from a moving car' technique. When one of our staff members tried to flag down the car, they tried to run over the volunteer and sped away. This is a beautiful dog, in good health, and has an amazing temperment. But now she is cowering in her crate and refuses to eat because she is so upset. I took her out for a walk last night, and she is great on the leash (and is fully house/crate broken). I sat down for a second on the curb and she immediately tucked her tail b/w her legs layed into my lap and burried her head in the crux of my arm; the equivalent of a human balling their eyes out on your shoulder.
For the life of me I can't understand who the fuck does this?!?!? I know a lot of people get pets thinking it will be so much fun, and then end up having to get foster homes for them because they can't handle it. These people are fucking idiots, but I can let it slide because they do what's best for the animal.
However, to all you low life, scum sucking, dirty-twat swallowing cum dumpsters who do nothing but abuse an animal from start to finish: GO FUCK YOURSELVES!!!!...better yet, let me fuck you, in the ass, with a barbed-wire dildo, while slamming your nuts in a Foreman grill, as i pour week-old McDonalds fry grease down your throat, while you stand on a bed of rusted nails.... I don't want you fucking dead, I want you to suffer endless fucking pain for the rest of your pitiful fucking existance, preferably while you watch the beautiful animal you abused go on to enjoy the rest of it's life on this earth.

Phew, needed to get that out there. If you couldn't tell, this sorta shit makes me epically, violently, angry. And, I'm sure this is going to spawn all sorts of Vick comments, but I hope not, cuz I think we are all sick of hearing about that.
