Who cares its 2 bucks. Do you want them to give it to you at cost? How will they make a profit then? Whats the point of being in business if you are only making pennies? Besides most places give free refills anyways.

Yeah. We went to a place the other day while driving up from Southern Oregon.. glass of soda was 1.75 with only one refill. :frown:

We were kinda like.. wtf?

lol, $2 for a pop is too much? Boy, I'd be happy if it was $2. 🙂
😕

You can get like a 64oz fountain drink at 7-11 or Plaid Pantry for $1.40.

Yes but 7-11 isn't a restaurant. You can argue that you can get a 2L of Coke for under $1 if you want to talk about Big Gulps or whatnot. $2 for a soda isn't that uncommon here in Dallas.

Why isn't anyone b1tching about beer prices? $3 for a domestic brew that for twice that much, you could buy an entire 6 pack at the store?

Thank ya. 🙂

next thread topic, why 2 liter cokes cost less than 1 liter and 20ouncers in some cases in your grocery store.

i got disinterested half way through, instead of bitching, why don't you show your cheppie side in public and actually ask the waiter/waitress how much pop/soda is, then ask why the price is not listed.. blah blah. make a scene. and during dinner if your steak has strainds of curly hair on it, you deserved it.

i'll bet you don't even order side items, because they cost "too much" sorry i dun have much sympathy for you..

If you're worried about the cost of your drink you probably should just consider taking your date to mcdonalds and letting her pick 2 items off the dollar menu next time.

Soda costs more in restaurants. Guess what, a can of soda from the vending machine at school costs more than a 2 liter at the grocery store too!

Just spend the $2 and have an enjoyable meal when you go out to eat you cheapskate 😀

best bang for the buck, least profit for the restaurant is proabaly most of AT's motto (at least in Hot Deals).

top 3 food costs (just food, no labor, rent, etc) for mcdonald's dollar menu is:
Big N tasty - $0.62
side salad - .53
parfait - .43

most profit-> soda $0.11

thats why i just buy the big n tasty, and go back to my desk at lunch w/my 2liter soda in the fridge

but i'm digressing from the topic...
