We just brought on a temporary employee at work last week and he's getting annoying. It's the little stuff...
Every single day, at least 2 dozens times over the last two weeks, he calls my extension (479) and I answer. As soon as he hears me, he hangs up. He always forgets to push "Outside line" before dialing an outside number... not only is he not smart enough to remember to press the button labeled "Outside line", but he's rude and just hangs up on me when I take the time to say "Good afternoon, this is Joe, how can I help you?" He could say something... anything... but he doesn't. He hangs up... it's just rude I tell you!
Something else, if a phone is ringing in the office and someone isn't at their desk, he runs (literally) to get it. We have voicemail, I've told him several times to just let the voicemail get it. But it seems he doesn't listen...
Ohhh and did I mention he can't navigate the internet, which was a prerequisite for the job? He has a yahoo.com email address, but he had to ask me "Joe, how I do get to yahoo.com?"
BAHHHHH, it's driving me crazy. I'm just glad my permanent coworkers are at least halfway literate with computers and office manners.
TEMP employees suck ass.
That is my rant for today.
