Ok ... I gotta let this one out since I dispies her deeply.
I'm on the third floor installing some printers in various classrooms.
She is in her office inputting information into Word. Somehow she loses
what she was typing and calls me to help her retrieve it. I am not in the office
and she leaves a message. I check my VM an hour later and I go upstairs to see her.
Now she's pissed the fvck off cuz I wasn't in my office. Even if I was, I probably wouldnt
be able to retrieve it.

Her lack of people skills drive everyone insane. I asked her if she saved it along the way and she said no. It's not my fault you dont periodically save your documents as you're typing. Great, take it out ont he tech guy and tell everyone I'm a slacker and didnt show up for work today (my coworker called me and told me she was pissed at me for not being in)! She's a moron and she probably doesnt even care that I'm probably going to be the last one to leave today to finish up some work before we break for the holidays!

SHEESH ... ok rant over.

haha ... i spelled despise wrong.

nakedfrog - I think you have to save it first and then it'll automagically save it every X minutes.
She likes to type these long emails and then when something happens, poof it's gone.
She loves doing so in webmail. There's an auto timeout settnig that logs you out after 15 minutes. She'll type her hands
off and it logs her out. She gets mad. Just take it out on my why dont you!

Give her some of your special holiday elixir directly from the source...she will then mellow out.

pimpjuice to the rescue, works every time

She's a nun so I can't swear and yes i wish i could kick her!
No one here likes her and she's an old miserable lady. Don't take your frustration out on everyone else.
I understand she's the only child and her 80+ mother is very ill.

Doesn't Word autosave periodically?

It autosaves for recovery purposes (if word crashes). It doesn't save the recovery file if you close word down.

Why not tell the head father in charge, or whoever her boss is about her attitude?

Ask her what Jesus would do.

That would be the board of director. Oh, everyone knows and moral is bad and the turnover rate is ridiculous with the teachers. A lot of the kids are leaving and parents are complaining. I still dont understand why they havent let her go.

Then beat the sh!t out of her with a Bible while quoting that passage about the vengeance of the Lord from Pulp Fiction.

That would be God, and he's currently on another line ... 😛

lilcam,

Even if the Head Director knows, make sure to tell him anyways. Then next time she has a problem, put it on the bottom of your things to do. Make sure to actually do a lot of work for other people when she has to wait, that way she can't say to the others that you are being lazy. Your excuse will be that all the other work had you swamped. If she has an attitude, help her only on your terms. Your job still requires you to help her, but just remember, she needs you for the help. Keep putting her on the bottom of your list till she realizes she needs to change her attitude before people will cooperate with her. If the Director knwos there is a problem, maybe he will do something, like speak to her. Otherwise, just quit, or try to transfer if you are "working" for the church.
