It seems the criteria for a thread getting locked is if it gets interesting.
That's not the only criteria. We also lock stupid threads.

I suspect this one will be an exception, as it will get locked well before that point.
It would be helpful if the person responsible would post a short explanation as to the WHY. I've been in two that were locked for no apparent reason.
