I dunno if its all over america or just in my state but.....
When driving on highways in particular this two lane highway by me where there aren't any commercial vehicles allowed. these drivers love to use the left lane as there own without consideration to anyone else. The left lane is for passing only yet they choose to do whatever speed they feel is good for them not taking into consideration those behind them who dont want to go as slow as they are. How friggin hard is it to switch to the right lane let some cars pass and then go back to the left lane? They will have the whole right lane wide open sometimes and see me coming up from behind and not move. I have to slam on my breaks and wait for them to "feel like" moving over to let me by. At times I've flashed my lights and started honking my horn and yet they still refuse to get in the right lane to allow me to pass? Why is this? Are they just stubborn a$$holes who think the road is only for them? There are even signs that say left lane for passing only. Having driven throughout Italy I have learned that europeans consider passing on the right one of the worst things you can do while driving and people always get out of your way as soon as they see you getting close to them. I can understand if the right lane is filled with traffic and there isnt room for you to move over but 95% of the time this is not the case and the people are either A) not paying attention B) think the road is for them only C) inconsiderate D) just plain fVcking stupid .
BOTTOMLINE: just get out of the way for a friggin second and let me pass so I dont have to slam on my breaks or risk passing on the right. Do so in a timely manner and everyting will be fine.
ONe more thing ........why the hell do people think it is safe to merge on a highway going only 30 miles per hour? I have almost been destroyed by mack trucks b4 becasue the tool box in front of me was accelerating at 1 mph per minute and we were goin 35 trying to merge with traffic goin 70. If I get into an accident cuz some fvcker doesnt have the brains to merge at the same speed of the traffic then somebody is gonna goto jail and it prolly gonna be me for beating the sh!t out of the driver that doesnt have a friggin clue.
