I like the look of it; very slick car. Nice interior and a pretty nice engine too.

Expect 45k-55k starting wages, depending on location/employer.

Buy something more practical dude. The insurance is going to kill you being 17! :Q

Unless your parents are going to let you on their policy.

hmm, my brother was going to buy that car, 280hp then he decided not to. i forgot why.

something about nissan sports cars' performance being lower then other companies or something. and front wheel drive or something something.

anyway, hes 24 and the insurance for a new car is ridiculous for him, so hes going to wait another year. he was looking at WRX, S2000, '94 supra, '93 NSX, and uhh... '02 bmw 328ci/i, or RX-8.

Not that it matters, but the 350Z is RWD, and I think 287HP is pretty ample for a NA V6.

Check out the Nismo 350Z pics in this thread.

It may be a nice car but the taillights are ugly and the headlights are a ripoff of the celica...
Except it looks 100X better than the Celica <-- girly car.
The Z is a real man's car :D
Actually, I see no Celica in the Z at all. I see more TT and Porshe.

Chicks dig trucks anyway.. go for a old/used Chevy!
Are you kidding?

Why have bucket seats when you can have her sit right next to you. Get a stick shift and it gets even better! :D

Showing her more horsepower from a sports car is just another way of compensating for "something" you don't have anyway.

:Q :D

I used to think getting a suuped up car was the thing to do, but I'm telling you! Seriously! Chick's like trucks!! Look around..

I don't know where you live, but if the weather gets crappy, rain or snow.. do you think your girlfiend will be impressed when you have 300HP under the hood and your stuck on a speed bump? Secondly, a high performance vehicle will only get your speeding tickets and AGAIN raise your already ungodly insurance rate. Those cops will be there when you least expect it. Why? Because your young and inexperienced.
Please don't flame me on that comment because I was in law enforcement for 12 years and I've seen it first hand many times!

But again it's your choice. I'm just giving you my .02 because I was there once too.

Cheers!!

This is only if you speed all the time and make it obvious. Just drive 5-10 over normally and keep with the flow of traffic and you won't give them a reason to pull you over. I drive 30 mins to work and then 30 minutes back everyday, havent had a ticket in years. I do 10 over the whole time.

Don't listen to these people. I drive a 2k F-150 SuperCab w/ a 5.4L V8, while i love it, damn i miss my Mustang Shinomi Boss that it replaced. I love driving my wife's Maxima SE. That is one fun car for a family ride.

I never got a single ticket in the 2 years i had the Boss before it go totalled (not my fault). I used to race that thing whenever i got the chance :) Just Drive responsibly and you'll be fine.

Buy what YOU want. Don't let people talk you out of getting a car you like.

That's a good point on the truck. Have her sit right next to you. Sweet.

There may be some cars like that too though, but none that I can think of that'd be like the 350Z. :p

I'm not much of a truck guy, but they can be useful. I generally prefer smaller cars, and chicks DO dig rice, believe me. I've seen it first hand so many times. They fall for it. They think it's so "cool", etc. blah blah blah. Bunch of crap if you ask me, but I never see a ricer without a hot chick in the passenger seat.

I totally agree, however I'm only mentioning what might be practical since his insurance is going to skyrocket when it's classified as a "sportscar". Dark4ng3l, do what you want dude! :)

Just a final thought though for Dark, have you ever stopped by the local insurance company and asked them for a quote for this type of vehicle and your driving record? (What little there is because of your age)

I would just love to be there and help you pick up your teeth when the agent tells you the bad news.

Get a rich girl friend and tell her to buy you one! :D (j/k)
