So I am selling a lot of stuff, items that I really don't need or want to move out of my current apartment, all of which I personally think is very reasonably priced.

The item in question, a like new (hardly used) ratpad, I am asking $10 shipped. I get a pm from someone asking what the lowest I will go is, then offers me $6. I tell him that since the price includes shipping it really isn't worth it for me to sell it for $6. He replies with "can you wait till friday for the money?" WTF?!

This isn't a gdamn garage sale people. Go buy it new for $20 cheap ass.

lol.....you always have to ask for cheaper that what's stated. I seem to do that sometimes too, and have had it done to me what few times I've tried to sell something on there. $6 is kind of a waste of money.

I don't see anything wrong with that. He made an offer and you refused. He then accepted the price you stated and is just asking if you're going to wait.

You complain about it not being a garage sale, well thats what it is. It sure as hell isn't a retail store.

EDIT: + to my dnt list if you're such an anal trader.

you sort of have to be anal these days... otherwise i'm going to end up getting ripped off.

edit: i honestly don't see a problem with being anal, if you ever do any trading/buying from me you'll be happy im so anal when you get your item so perfectly packaged :p

Yea, I guess I can see where you're coming from, but I do think you're over reacting from what I'm seeing of the situation.

it's not just this one situation, i have a few fans listed there as well, with a note that says they must be purchased with other hardware. i've had countless pm's saying they want just two fans, when i tell them they need to pay shipping i get told to 'fvck off'.

FS/FT is a virtual garage sale. There is nothing wrong with trying to bargain a price down. Get a life.

Put them on your DNT list and move on. Absolutely no reason to get all worked up about it.

At that price, you may as well list the mouse pad as 'Free Item, but you pay s/h'. :p I agree with you though, stev0.

I hate people that get you 2/4 of the way through a deal where you have given them your address and they say they won't have the $$$ until Thursday or some crap.
