Rant: FedEX decides to ship to my billing address instead of address I provided!

Sheesh....so, after I place an order, I get an email stating that the delivery address is different from billing address and will delay the 2day Fedex thingy. I don't mind since I don't need the RAM asap. However, just right now, I get another email stating order went through and I go track my shipment.

Wellll....

"Delivery attempt IRVINE CA 01/29/2002 13:15 Customer not available or Business closed "

No duh....my parent kept our original home in Irvine (we let pastors or other guests come and use it when they visit So-Cal) when we moved to Newport Coast....I guess they are wondering why I routed my shipment to a home 15 minutes away from the original destination address.....

ALSO, "business closed?" Uh...NO! Residential area! aRGH...now time to call Fedex.

sorry for rant. thank you

I did have to

I had a similar problem with Dell and UPS. I ordered 10 network cards, and they came in two boxes. They sent one box to my shipping address and the other to my billing address.
Both packages were shipped the same day, so some one really messed up, especially when my billing address is a P.O. Box!!

Static911,

FedEx didn't "decide" to do anything. All they do is deliver to the address on the shipping label that the vendor put on the box.

Oops, my bad...I wasn't thinking clearly when I said "FEDEX"

I meant CRUCIAL didn't put the right shipping address on it

Thanks RUSS

Hmm, i guess the processing depo at Crucial's going haywire. If it were another company, i would have thought that they weren't into sending packages to any other address besides the billing, but i know that Crucial does for sure.
