I am mainly referring to my past co-workers. This past week, I got random emails and text msgs from old colleagues. Everyone is worried about losing their jobs and the main reason why they contacted me is regarding MY job situation and if I'll be any use to them. (once they find out I'm not on a project, they immediately cut communication). They can't even send a reply?
My point is, don't fucking message me to act like you're asking "how are you?" when you just want to know if I can get them on a project.
Next time when I'm actually in a position to help you, do you think I'm going to reply to your email when you didn't even bother to reply back to me this time?

Dear skim milk,

Thanks for taking the time out of your schedule to help me out. I appreciate it.
Do let me know if an opportunity arises in the future.

Sincerely,

dbk

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men.

I knew this sounded like the familiar neediness and psychotic faux-rage of a member I thought was gone.

I hate it when you call someone and they don't pick up, then they text you back 2 mins later. Why not just call?
