Jugernot, I'm skinny (6'1", weighing 135lb). I just wanted to tell you that I eat all the time. I eat all the fatty foods and a lot of protein, but I weight lift every other day. Perhaps you can start weight lifting.....

I already do, like I said, I've already lost 4 inches off my waist. I'm aiming for 100lbs by next summer.

Yeah, I'm a bit chubby but I don't eat all THAT much. Anyways, my friend and I went on down to Safeway just the other day and bought a dozen donuts for $2.99. Had breakfast the next day and I was pretty satisfied. I used to be pretty fit... that was 3 years ago now. I would have a mostly protein diet and then weight lift and do some cardio at least 4 times a week. You can lose a good amount of weight if you do that.

Well of course the vast majority of obesity is caused by poor eating and lifestyle habits so it's really not surprising to see somebody eat 12 donuts. Now personally I doubt I would feel happy putting down more than half a dozen but I've never tried 🙂

This guy on TLC who lost hundreds of pounds (IIRC he was like 800 to start) used to eat two pizzas a day and a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread. That was his diet.

Very doable! The larger somebody is to start the faster they can drop pounds!

How did he lose all of it? What is his weight in the show?

But yeah, I agree... I can't stand seeing grossly overweight people chowing down in a rather piglike fashion... quite disturbing...

I am just wondering, how do you weigh 290 only eating 1 meal a day? Do you travel in a Hover Round?

Edit: My Dad is a Fatty Boombody at around 300 lbs. I fear I will one day look like him so I am taking steps to prevent that. I am now 6'2" 200 up from 185 when I graduated college 2 years ago. Uh oh!

There is NOTHING more horrid that the sight of those "Fat goths". You know the ones. 350 pounds and as wide as a geo metro, decked out in black leather, spandex, and 5 pounds of eye makeup.

Egads, it's just WRONG.

He was put on like a 700 calorie diet. At that weight, just the act of not eating food will make the weight just drop off, initially. Although, most of the pound are just water.

i can't recall - if I had to guess I'd say stomach stapling or something similar. His weight in the show was much less. I can't recall but I'm guessing he lost around 500 pounds. He had so much extra "skin" mucky crap hanging around him he had to get an operation and they removed a HUGE chunk of fat/skin that was so big it hung to his knees. Not kidding you. Picture a pregant woman with her belly sticking out and hanging by flesh down to her knees. He looked like that. It was fantastically foul to behold.

He couldn't get out of bed or anything before and now he's back to being able to walk and what not.

The absolute worst is the fat High School girls who like to think they are hot. Or pretend they think they are hot.

Some of the people I see on a day to day basis...

One behemoth shows off a bare ass to anyone that she doesn't like. Fortunately I haven't had this punishment.

Oh, and apparently she wears G-Strings 🙁

So the guy is thin as say, Jared from those Subway commercials?

M4H's link pretty much explains it. http://www.dimensionsmagazine.com/dimtext/kjn/people/heaviest.htm

Al Roker, this guy got so much press coverage for losing weight, although he did it the easy way by going through surgery. What BS. :|

No I don't think like that. Jared is no longer overweight. Last I saw this guy was but compared to his utter whaleness before it's nothing in comparison. He's merely obese now instead of insanely morbidly death-bed obese.

Interesting thing about stomach stapling is that the assertion is that it's the last resort for somebody who's tried everything. However all a stomach stapling does is decrease stomach size so that you get full quicker. All it is doing - and nothing more - is controlling hunger pangs and allowing you to feel full after maybe a sandwhich instead of a 15 piece KFC. So really saying that the person has tried everything else is a falsehood. What's working now? They are eating less. So why didn't they try that before? The fact is they didn't enjoy the feeling of hunger. And that's fair, but willing over that feeling would have allowed them to lose the weight without the operation. Course excercise doesn't hurt either.

Seriously, think about this for a second.

For those of you who have traveled abroad - Have you ever seen a fat person in Asia?

Now, contrast that - Have you ever seen a fat Asian, here in America?

Finally, look at Sumo wrestlers. They have to WORK their ASS off to achieve those weights. They don't magically bulk up like that, they have to go on special diets to gain all that weight.

So ask yourself, "How is it that people in Asia need to WORK to get fat, and here in America, it happens naturally?"

Did you see Dateline when they had Al Roker's magical surgery coverage? Just before surgery, Roker's like "I'm going to eat so much donuts, gravy, cakes, YUM!"

Well, if he truly did try everything, how come we've never seen him thin before, or at least for awhile?

But then again, if I had the money and I was Roker, I would do the same thing. 😀

I just don't like how much press coverage he got for losing weight through surgery.

Err.... everyone knows that fast food is terrible for you, yet they eat it anyway. Same goes for all the processed foods in stores...
