Some of the bottled waters have been tested and contain *more* impurities than regular tap water. We have filtered water in our office - which isn't maintained on a regular basis. About every 4 months, we need to make a service call to get it serviced. The lines are usually plugged up and need to get purged when they change the filtering system. I'm sure before the maintenance team arrives, people who drink that water are drinking water that is much worse that the tap water since they getting a "concentrated" shot of impurities with their 8 oz. of water. She instantly mentioned how wrong it was to drink water from an unfiltered source, because it contains chemicals and impurities and other crap like that inside.
Oh, and I really, really hate people who tend to give advice out as this co-worker has done. And 'NO' I wouldn't "hit it" because office romances / affairs / etc. tend to catch up with you and make things uncomfortable down the road.
