This is more of a rant than a request for assistance but if you have any solutions to offer please do
It just so happens that my pr0n folder is on a RAID mirrored disk on a Solaris/SPARC box (hey, if you have the technology and the know-how...). The directory structure, among others, is exported out via Samba to my Windows systems. But now for some reason I'm occasionally seeing JPEGs popping up corrupted--no thumbnail, 0 bytes
I'm wondering if it's a Samba weakness. But in any case, it kinda sucks to think that an enterprise-level data redundancy solution is still susceptible to random bit-flips.
I want my pr0n protected, dammit
EDIT: Turns out I was wrong. It's on an XP box and I'm losing myself in all these Explorer windows simultaneously open.
