RANT: Banks cut back tellers during lunch!

What's that all about? If anything, they should *increase* the number of tellers during lunchtime because that's when most working folks can make it to the bank. Six teller windows and only 2 open! They should have it so nobody takes lunch between 11:30am and 12:30pm. Customer service, along with interest rates on saving accounts (0.995%!!!!) have hit an all-time low.

It makes about as much sense as Wendy's sending their workers to lunch around noon.

i agree. if you're in that type of job you should eat lunch earlier or later. hell sometimes i eat lunch hours late and i don't have that kinda job.

What do you do at the bank that requires tellers? I use online banking, direct deposit for my paycheck, and ATM's for other deposits and withdrawals. Waiting in bank lobbies or drive-thru teller lines drives me insane...

Cash deposits? I would never trust stuffing cash into an envelope and dropping it into a box.

I wouldn't do that either. I was just curious.

Right. In the service industry, you really should modify your work schedule around your clients. The successful ones do.

The bank would never trust you stuffing cash in a bag and depositing it either. I'd bet my bippy that two people open all such bags and double count your money just so they don't have you comming back and saying there was twice as much. I'd also bet that the money gets counted till the bakn gets a consistent count that either matches yours or for sure matches theirs.
