Rant: Abit RMA

Abit RMA is fairly ok, ships stuff fast etc..
but couple of things anoying me a lot
I had to RMA two mobos in last couple of months
first NF7-S, when I got it back, everything was ok, except the box it came in was IS7 box
no big deal...
2nd, IC7 MAX3, it came in a NF7 box, ticked me little bit but again, no big deal, it's just a box.
I open it up and I see a mobo with dust all everywhere, around the socket, and NB cooler is just all clugged up. ok, I know I'm getting used one(refub) but still they could at least clean it up a little!
3rd, they ship it by UPS... I'm in canada, $25 handling charge at the door, nuff said. 🙁

I never had to RMA Asus, MSI or other makers so I dont know how they do it, but I will never buy another abit board again

Speaking of RMA, I would like to say Epson has the best RMA i have ever dealt with.
they send courier to pick the printer up at my house, they cover the shipping charge.
I only send the printer, and they send me a refub one with half filled inks and those sample photo papers and everything.. not bad at all

Never had a problem with Abit my self, altho thats happen to me with Asus.. Thats why im on a Abit now lol 😛

Weird. I had to rma an NFS-7 too and I'm in Canada. No charges. The MB was dirty too tough.

My Max3 chipset fan is out of whack right now. When it starts screaming it's louder than anything else in my system. Great board otherwise though. Guess I'm going to have to find a replacement fan for it.

Asus is a lot worse - trust me! The last three mb I have sent in all had issues which I had to RMA back! My two favorite manufactuer of mb are now Soltek and Abit which I never had to RMA...

I just RMA'd my A7N8X deluxe and they Fed ex'd it back to me in Canada which is nice. But now it seems that this board may be dead also.
