If there is one thing that is bad about society it is companies like Abercrombie, that manage, to make overpriced preworn out clothing and sell them to middle and high school kids at prices well over 40 dollars for a tshirt, and then make them think that the people who dont wear abercrombie are trash, hence assimulating more, causing people to waste money on clothing, and sucking money from their parents where they shouldn't be, and even in some cases causes financial problems.

Now i know parents shouldnt be letting their kids spend more of their money than they can afford on clothing, but seriously it's sad that a lot of people i know have been made fun of for not wearing abercrombie clothing, i mean how friggin pathetic is that? Besides the fact that abercrombie is a very racist company, and posts porn all over malls, even though they are a clothing company. People all wear these 50 dollar pre-worn out tshirts, like clones, even though they arnt aware of it.

I mean honestly, it's not just a waste of money, it's like people are insanly manipulated by brand names these days and become what many people define as aberzombies. see http://www.aberzombie.com. not saying there is anything bout prefering a certain brand of something, but seriously, being obsessed and only buying from one company and not accepting others who do not want to pay outragous prices for the clothing or even making fun of them is ridiculus.

Sorry if this is a report, but i needed to rant bout it lol i wanna hear peoples opinions and dont wanna be flamed although i dun think i offended anyone directly.... i hope lol

lol well i dun think they are becuz everyone else where's them and they have many that are racist towards asains, im not asian but i still dun like that.

never shopped there, neverwill.

my friend once came up to me and said "what do you think of my hat?" I'm like, "it's torn, did the washer machine eat it or what?" then he goes, " nah dude, I bought it liek this, from AF, ain't it cool?"

now wtf, that hat had a big ass rip in it, part of it looked it it was about to fall off.

sorry this post reminded me of that.

So basically you are saying you are a poor little sh!t and feel better about yourself when you make fun of a clothing company. Cool... For the record I own like three things from Abercrombie and I haven't been in one of their stores in years. I think it is silly when people have a problem with fashion that does look GOOD.

wtf. they make great clothing... they ARE expensive, but abercrombie makes nice looking and long lasting clothes. I'm sick and tired of hearing people complain at abercrombie. if you don't like them so much, just don't shop there. stop wasting your time with these posts.

I thought it was kind of sick when they tried coming out with thongs for 9 year olds that said things like 'eye candy' on the front.

never been there, seems too expensive for me, and I like my clothes looking new. the faded, worn AF look doesn't suit my taste very well :)

I've never shopped there, don't intend to either.

Been to A&F once, never bought anything. Their clothes seem like a cross between Old Navy & Gap but they charge Banana Republic/J.Crew prices

The thing about Abercrombie is... they have to have their name clearly visible on all of their clothes. I could wear the exact same clothes minus the name, and I wouldn't be as "cool" as someone with Abercrombie all over their body. Pretty pathetic, honestly. It seems like people tie their identity to the clothes they wear - I've known plenty of people who wear almost nothing but A&F clothes. Such a waste, but to each his own. I get plenty of compliments from a few t-shirts I got from a thrift store. :)

I totally agree with you. Brand names and societal conformity is rather sickening. HOwever it is something that has happened for as long as people have existed; it is just more rampant now because of how wour society is designed.

Now for those of you who think "make them think that the people who dont wear abercrombie are trash" is a stupid statement go to just about any middle school or high school and you will know what wetcat means. If you think those brand name clothes are good...well go ahead and spend all that money. I have bought brand names before but they never seem to last that long. I don't know how you think they are good quality. If the fashion is so cool just go somewhere else and get the same thing without the name on it.

And those of you who has a problem with posts about people ranting about stupid brand name racist companies...don't be hypocrits...don't read it the post. If he wants to rant he has every right to rant.

wtf. he makes good points... they ARE expensive, but how good they look is a matter of taste. I'm sick and tired of hearing people complain about people who complain about Abercrombie. If you don't like people complaining, just stay out of their threads. Stop wasting your time with these posts.

Abercrombie is not good looking. I won't say it's overpriced, but their clothes are awful. Ragged crap. While I do feel loyalty towards certain labels, I don't feel loyalty towards their sense of fashion. The problem with Abercrombie is, they sell fashion the masses. To achieve this, all their clothes try to 'go with' all their other clothes. They want you to buy everything, and just wear it all. Who does that? It's ridiculous, you end up like everyone else, walking around looking like the guy in the Abercrombie cataloge (well, not like HIM... yum)

I do a lot of my shopping at Kleptomaniac.com but when I need to put something together fast, just head to Dillards. My classic favorites are Nautica and Ralph Lauren, but I definitely think Daniel Cremieux has the right idea.

By the way, the very concept of mass fashion is impossible. Fashion is what most people don't have, that's the idea, the elusiveness of it. So whatever Abercrombie sells isn't fashion, it's old news, 'cause everybodies wearin' it. Sadly, that means that most people will never really wear a great outfit. For those who don't want to look downright bad, but simply don't have the right eye, I suppose dressing from the catalogue is a good enough idea.... Actually, nevermind, email the execs of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and see if you can get on.

Who gives a sh*t. Probably half the geeks on here live on kmart jeans and amd tshirts so no one cares what you wear.
