I was checking out the imdb forums for some data on Boondock Saints II, and I came across this thread:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt13...ard/flat/119260358?p=1
The first couple of pages are ok, but then the discussion iis reduced to an argument between two people. One of them has erased all his posts, all you can read are the woman's responses... strange world...

Meh.

IMDb's politics forum is a war zone, that's where the real entertainment is.

is it worse than the ATPN forum? That place has moderators cursing and banning users that disagree with them...

Oh come on, that doesn't happen. P&N moderators rarely ban anybody, even the people who blatantly troll.

Think of it this way... most AT users are American. As much and as adamantly as we disagree, we almost all fall within a certain range on the political spectrum.

IMDb's userbase is very international. Muslims, Jews, europeans, bleeding heart liberals and good ole' confederate boys all intermingle in a single forum.

If a post there gets enough reports the system will automatically delete it, but there is no human moderation. There is also nothing done to discourage multi-accounts, most of those who do it flaunt it. There's one guy who wrote a thread with over 200 replies almost entirely by himself using multiple accounts. There's another guy who routinely sends death threats to random people via private message.
