Random Shutdowns

In the last few days my computer just shut off and restarts itself and it says the windows had a serius error, it said it had a driver malfunction. First, I updated all my drivers that fixed nothing. Second, I started to disable all my drivers and devices, it worked fine for about an hour, then it started again. So I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows. Now about 8 Hours later it started again, I have no idea whats going on, i really need help.

had you test your system out with prime95 or memtest86+ ?

Nope.... It doesnt cop out during those tests. It does it during the ittle stuff like browsing the web and listening to music.

Sounds like your CPU is going out. Mine did the same thing. Then one day poof...it was dead.

Thats it, I think there is a IRQ issue because in the boot up screen it lists all the IRQ's amd two of them are unavailable. I hope this is the issue because I dont want to replace the cu.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

is usually a troublesome device driver

check admin tools' event viewer and find the errors being spit out.
norton's win doctor is also a nice tool.
