Random restarts, NTLDR missing

Im just now getting around to getting these problems fixed. They have been happening for a while, but I figure I should really start getting them in check.

Problem #1: (seemingly)Random restarts

Every so often, I will be loading up a game or doing something taxing, or just be away from it (it doing nothing) and come back to find it has restarted. Why it is doing this, I know not. I have an idea it might be my power supply. I am running a 450W Xclio that I have been running for about a year, and I think I may have to much hardware connected to it. My hardware consists of:

X2 3800+
x1800xt
ATI HDTV Wonder TV Tuner
Creative Audigy 2 ZS platinum sound card
PCI wireless card
2x250gb HDD
1x80gb HDD
1x500gb HDD

I am using about every connection I have in there. Other than that I have no other ideas of why this could be happening. Am I using to much power? Or does the problem sound like something else?

Problem #2: NTLDR missing

This I have some idea about. Every time I start up my computer without the windows installation disk in the drive, it comes up with the message "NTLDR is missing. Press CTRL + ALT + Delete to restart".

I went to Microsoft's site and looked up the problem. It said to contact a customer service representative to get this missing file. But when I emailed one of them he referred me to Microsoft support, which costs money. I looked online for the file, and I found the file, but it seems I have since lost it, and I cant find the site again.

Either way, if I did have the file, I dont have any idea of how to create a boot disk or whatever to replace the file.

Any ideas?

Thanks to all that help.

NTLDR is the NT boot loader, when you get that error all the time its typically a corrupt OS, but if you get it sorta random its a failing drive

Try this. Format a floppy disk (full format, not quick format) and copy over your ntldr, ntdetect, and boot.ini onto that floppy.

Boot from that floppy.

Can your system now fully boot?

If this works then copy the ntldr file from the floppy to the root of your system directory.

The doing something taxing and then having the computer restart sounds like its overheating. I'd run Prime95 or Orthos to make sure it isn't overheating (processor) and also try running 3dMark in order to check and see if your video card may be overheating.
