So like the topic says 🙂, my computer randomly reboot. For no reason whatsoever. I could be playing a game or just surfing the internet and out of no where bam! a reboot, there's no blue screen or anything it just restarts on it's own. Is there anything i can do that might solve this problem out? thanks 🙂

ok ok :S

Amd 64 3000+ s754
Gigabyte GA vt800
Geforce 4 ti 4200 128mb tv-out
80GIG WD 7200 rpm 8mb
512 DDR pc 2700
Antec Sl400 (400 watts)

and that's about it i guess?

What RAM are you using? Is it generic (no name) RAM?

You aren't using a generic PSU, so I wouldn't immediately suspect that. I would start by running Memtest, and see if you are getting errors.

Yes im pretty sure it's low qualite, like Major? and another stick that is Kingston?

Anyways it's 2x256mb both low quality lol

I hear tell that AMD 64's need at least a 500 watt PSU....so that may be something to consider.

Not true.

I've ran the system in my sig with a True430 (only 2 HD's powered up) and it was perfectly fine.

A kid got a voltometer for Xmas and checking his PC out under load. He totaled around 250-300W max for everything. After hearing that I realized that it is not necessary to spend $150-300 on a PSU. If you wanna do it more power to you, but I have enough problems explaining a $400 video card to my wife...lol
