Random question: Why does it seem like every gas station supports Ron Paul?

Just seems like when I drive around nowadays, every gas station has a Ron Paul sign in the outer lawn area.

Is there any reason for this in particular?

that's pretty weird.

the michigan primary is over and he lost 😛

I haven't seen any real signs for Ron Paul (or any candidate for that matter) in NJ.

I?ve seen Ron Paul signs in Alabama.

Maybe the gas stations in question are just too lazy to take down signs some pranksters placed.

Huh....well guess this isn't nationwide...but I know at LEAST 3-4 in the area do...and they are the only ones in the area with ANY candidates signs. Odd.

Guess at least I wasn't missing some trend...

Ron Paul signs are everywhere around here now. Many are hand painted to give the passerby a false sense of grassrootiness. There is a two mile long Burma Shave style Ron Paul message on the road into town. It has a least twelve signs. With the wind, the sign with Ron Paul's name has been folded closed so the whole point is lost.

Arizona has a very strong libertarian streak.

HA HA, so you're saying that a hand painted Ron Paul sign isn't grassroots?

I'm sorry just had to laugh at that, what do you think Ron Paul paid extra for that "hand painted" look?

Sorry, just thought that was funny as hell.

Have you ever been to a political rally? Those folksy hand painted signs are often supplied by a handful of folks, usually the sponsoring organization. The attendees just grab a sign off the stack and start waving. When the hand painted signs all look alike it is not unreasonable to assume they all came from the same source.

I'll second that. They seem to be everywhere in the Birmingham/Tuscaloosa areas. But then again, you don't know exactly who is putting up those signs.

Never heard of Stencils? Dude trust me the RP campaign doesn't have a sign that look at all hand painted! 🙂
