...and now for a really random question that popped into my head about 10 minutes ago for some reason. Forgive me if I don't explain it very well (it's been at least 20 years since I played with these things...)
Way back when I was just a young sprout in the 80s, there were these He-Man action figures that had a "plate" on their chest. You'd smash the plate on their chest with your knuckle or something, it would "dent", then rotate a new plate into position. Rinse, repeat ad nauseaum. I distinctly remember there was a He-Man figure and a Skeletor figure that did this. Not sure if there were any others.
Anyway, I was sitting here and I got to thinking: How the fsck did they do that? I'm sure it was a simple explanation but I never got the idea in my head to take one of those suckers apart to figure it out. Hindsight is 20/20....
Anyone know WTF I'm talking about, or is this some totally obscure piece of 80s memorabilia that no one here ever heard of?
