I can be doing anything from reading forums, playing games, listening to music. also, everytime i try to burn a cd, it locks up. Are there any programs to test the HD to make sure its fine?
i have a feeling my P/S is causing the problems, but since i want to use my HD in my new system, i want to make sure that it is ok. i ran memtest86 is it? and my RAM passed, i also ran the microsoft memory tool and it passed.
ive had lock up problems for a while now, and it used to lock up for about 15 seconds, then be ok for a few seconds, and then keep on and on with that cycle. Now, it will just lock up and i have to press the restart button.
