Random Gaming Shutdown Problems

Right in the middle of my Quake 3 Game, after about say 15 minutes or so, the system will just close the game and Q3 will read: VM error in USER.EXE or something like that.

I close all the system tray Icons before hand except the Virus Scan (NAV) and sometimes Norton System Doctor, and MBM5.

Does anyone else have this problem or know a solution?

Just taking a longshot here, but what's the temp of your CPU? It's possible that your overclocking could be the culprit, but I'm not putting any guarantees on that.

Could VM be video memmory? Is it possible that the Video card is overclocked as far as it will go? I think most overclockers back off the OC'ing when they find the limit.

How powerful is your powersupply? With all that in there, I would hope it would be 300w at least.

Otherwise, overclocking seems to be the only other possibility, but you never know.

Well, my Video Card is OC'd to 230/410. I have a Blue Orb attached to the GPU, memory bare.

CPU temp runs at about 52 deg. C during gaming.
