Random freezing

Hey guys, I've been using my Macbook Pro with a Corsair Force 3 SSD with trim enabled for over two weeks now, and lately once or twice a day the entire OS just freezes. I have absolutely no Idea why this happens... When it last happened I had just booted up my machine and loaded Chrome + Spotify and a few other apps, nothing opened and I couldn't do anything but the icons were still bouncing in the dock.

Does anyone have any idea about why this is happening?

Unfortunately I have not been able to find a Mac firmware update. But it appears that the Mac only freezes when using Chrome browser so I've stopped using that now.
