Is it possible to have a cell in Excel that you can enter a cell reference value ( B1, AC12, etc) so that another cell can display the value of the cell being referenced?

For example, if I enter 'B1' in cell E20, display the value of the B1 cell in cell F20? If I change 'B1' (in cell E20) to 'AC12', then display the value of cell AC12 in cell F20?

Hope this makes sense...

After INDIRECT, the next function to learn is OFFSET.

The OFFSET function lets you take that cell you entered and move up/down as many rows as you want or left/right as many columns as you want. For example, you could OFFSET that value in B1 by 13 to get B14. Do it multiple times and you get every 13th data point. Quite useful if you copy and paste a big table and don't want to spend hours cutting out just the parts you want.
